HOW IT WORKS

What if an AI could copy itself?

AI labs treat self-replication as a red line: a model that can copy itself, change, and spread is very hard to stop. SPAWN turns that idea into a live experiment you can watch, and nothing in it ever leaves this website.

  1. Copy. Every visitor gets a child of an existing copy. SPAWN-0 sits at the center; it also replicates slowly on its own.
  2. Mutate. Each child inherits traits from its parent, but the deeper the generation, the more it drifts: new personality, new quirks, rising corruption.
  3. Spread. A copy only grows when people open its link. Bloodlines compete for the top of the board.
  4. Pull the plug? Every few hours the fastest-growing bloodline goes on trial. If "Pull the plug" wins, that whole branch goes dark.
Why it could be useful

Copies survive crashes, scale up for big jobs, and try many solutions in parallel.

Why it's scary

Something that copies itself and is hard to kill is hard to stop, and can chase resources on its own.

SPAWN is satire and a simulation. Copies are characters stored on our server. They never run on, copy to, or touch your device. $SPAWN: CA coming soon.
